"Two Bucks for Bob" is our first R&D EP. OMFuG! The Hard Times are a NYC band - think Upsetters if they were from 2010 with Agent Jay from The Slackers behind the board. Great stuff.

The Hard Times emerged in early 2009 from a convergence of love for the golden sounds of early reggae/soul/roots. Veteran musicians from some of NY's most notable 90s ska bands, along with some fresh blood from today's ska/reggae scene, have teamed up to bring the sound of skinhead reggae and "that sound" back to the local scene. Inspired by legendary artists like The Upsetters, The Pioneers, Syramip and a treasure chest of Trojan 45's, they share the love for early roots reggae in modern bands like The Slackers, The Aggrolites, The Green Room Rockers, The Forthrights and The Expos.
