Album Notes
Monobound is a psychedelic soul reggae masterpiece assembled by Jorge Pezzimenti, who used to play bass and write songs in DC legends The Pietasters.
From Jorge himself:
"I was a Pietaster for a decade. That was fun. Got to back James Brown, see the world, write tunes and play them with friends. Ended up with some nerve damage in my right ear. That sucked. It made me come to face with my mortality and the limited amount of time we have. So, I wrote Monobound, as in that I didn't have stereo hearing (since recovered). This record's got my own sound equation: Kingston + Liverpool + Detroit = Jorge and The Landladies."
